Mission Trail Tours

History buffs and non-buffs alike will enjoy this comprehensive, half-day San Antonio Tour of The San Antonio Missions and Downtown San Antonio. You will walk the paths that the South Texas Indians walked, sit in the pews of the most beautiful churches you will ever find,  and understand why the Indians came to the Missions. 

Come along and be guided along the San Antonio Mission Trail through one of the oldest Missions in Texas, the “Queen” of the Missions, homes that the Indians lived in, a working grist mill, and witness the only existing original paintings, “frescos”, in the Missions.  Right now you can be a part of history!  Architectural Conservers are currently uncovering more of the frescos that were painted by the Indians more than 250 years ago! 

Your adventure begins either at your downtown, San Antonio, hotel or next to the Alamo in Alamo Plaza, where we pick you up in our comfy, 15-passenger, air-conditioned van. Our guides are home grown Texans!  It’s always best to go on San Antonio Sightseeing Tours with a local!
