From dives to divine, this epicurean journey is a delight from beginning to end.  San Antonio’s rich history is not just about the buildings and battles but also about its culinary treasures.  It truly is about the food in San Antonio!  This taste bud tantalizing adventure takes you to 5 to 6 locally owned and operated restaurants to sample the best foods that the city has to offer.  Our list of restaurants is growing daily and each tour is unique.  Some examples of foods that you may sample are the best Texas BBQ around, chili, homemade root beer, fish tacos, King Ranch chicken, enchiladas, buckshot balls, tuna margaritas or pecan fudge covered chocolate cake!  This is only an idea of the foods that await you.  This  is a driving tour and lasts approximately 3 hours.  You will be touring in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.

The King William Culinary & Culture Walking Tour

What could be better than combining food with art?!  This tour is a unique experience that has guests strolling leisurely through the beautiful King William historic district and sampling all that it has to offer.  You will visit several restaurants and art galleries while experiencing the unique architecture and ambiance of the King William.  Your tour will include food samples at the restaurants and also at some of the galleries.  Learn why the Germans came to Texas and settled here and see some of the beautiful homes that were built from the 1850’s to present day.  Samples on this tour could include such fare as buckshot balls, Texas pecan pie, high tea, jalapeño tuna salad, shrimp nachos and tuna margaritas. This tour ends where it begins and is approximately 1 mile total walking with intermittent stops at the restaurants and galleries.  Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
